Cuphead (2017)

Bosses change their attacks, spacing and vulnerable positions across distinct phases, making a clean first section useful preparation for the next. Retry restarts the fight, rather than preserving a late-phase checkpoint. In the updated game you can change weapons from the Retry screen, which makes testing a different shot much quicker. Use Regular when learning the complete encounter: Simple trims battles and is not a substitute for every later phase. The death-screen progress marker makes small improvements visible even before the knockout.
