An investigation has a calendar, and arriving at court underprepared can leave your client with the consequences. Losing a case can be written into the story, which gives the evidence gathering more bite than a simple retry loop. Falcon and Sparrowson's bird-lawyer comedy sits in a politically troubled, deliberately fictional 1848 Paris. It is a standalone reading-and-investigation hybrid with several endings. Choose it when you can tolerate an imperfect verdict; replaying a chapter lets you try a better-prepared case.
