Aritz Aduriz

Returning to Athletic at 31 opened Aduriz's most prolific chapter. In 2015/16, the season in which he turned 35, he scored 36 goals across competitions and earned a place in Spain's European Championship squad. His timing in the air and work inside the penalty area gave the attack a reliable centre, turning knowledge of the game into repeated chances rather than occasional veteran cameos.
