Jamie Vardy

Vardy had already helped Leicester win the league before his thirties, so the late achievement needs naming precisely. He won his first Premier League Golden Boot at 33, scoring 23 times in 2019/20. The non-league beginning explains his unusual route; his continued runs behind defences explain why arriving late did not mean merely enjoying one exceptional season.
