Doctor Sleep (2019)

The Overlook's recreated rooms invite recognition of Kubrick's The Shining, then force the adult Dan to act inside the place that defined his childhood terror. Reawakening its dangers becomes a desperate tactic against Rose, with his protection of Abra changing the meaning of the return. The imagery does more than reproduce an admired horror film: it gives inherited trauma a setting where another child's fate can be altered.
