Sheila Parker

Parker captained England in the Women's Football Association's inaugural official international against Scotland in 1972. Her career had begun with Dick, Kerr Ladies, connecting the older independent club tradition to a new national team. Fodens' 1974 cup win adds a playing achievement beyond the captaincy milestone, grounding her place in the game's rebuilding years.
