Cytus Alpha (2019)

Cytus Alpha puts more than 200 songs into a self-contained Switch purchase, with offline solo play explicitly supported. Its moving scan line makes taps, holds and drags feel different from a conventional falling-note keyboard. Electronic music dominates, and the difficulty ceiling is high. Chapter progression gives the collection structure; online score battles are an extra, rather than the route into the solo library.
