Combat Mission: Battle for Normandy (2011)

The same one-minute WeGo structure becomes a different tactical problem among Normandy's hedgerows, fields and villages. Plan infantry and armour support together, then use the replay to discover which unit actually saw a threat and why an apparently useful route failed. The base game covers the US and German forces around the initial Normandy campaign; additional national forces and later operations can require modules. Begin with its training material and small scenarios. It is a detailed simulation to study over sessions, rather than a quick abstract board-game match.
