Flotilla (2010)
Game
Released
Ships follow both sides' orders through thirty-second bursts, giving a flanking move time to become either an advantage or a very exposed mistake. Full three-dimensional movement means a safe-looking line on a flat screen may leave a vulnerable angle above or below. Use the custom skirmish mode against computer fleets to learn the camera and movement before committing to an adventure. Planning gives you breathing room; the challenge is reading space and anticipating where an opposing ship will be, rather than issuing faster orders during the action.
