The man who died (2017)
Book

A mushroom entrepreneur learns that someone has been poisoning him and decides to investigate while he still can. Antti Tuomainen, in David Hackston's translation, offers a Finnish crime novel whose deadpan comedy is as important as its jeopardy. Business rivalry and intimate betrayal produce an investigation with an unusually compromised timetable. A good change of tone if an international shelf has begun to mean nothing but relentless gloom.
