Mech Engineer (2024)

Start inside the reactor: power output, cooling and auxiliary components determine what the rest of the machine can sustain. Weapon tuning adds rate of fire, accuracy, ammunition use and weight to the calculation, with a simulator for testing. Missions use semi-automatic combat with active pause and orders, so much of your influence comes from preparation and managing the squad. Pilot condition and base resources matter too. This is the workshop-intensive choice.
