Choose this when you want the convoy plan and the visible battle to belong to the same campaign. Scouts and patrol aircraft help find threats before transports commit to the Solomon Islands, then real-time combat adds damage control and aircraft coordination. Begin with training and individual engagements before the longer dynamic campaign. Read that campaign's resupply settings: port resources, aircraft replacement and supply ships can change what another sortie costs. Sending a powerful group out is only half the problem; bringing it back ready to fight matters too.
