The Ballad of Wallis Island (2025)
Movie
Released
The island's awkward host and reunited folk musicians make excellent company when the afternoon has room for a little wistfulness. Songs, tea and damp coastal air supply the comfort, while the host's attachment to the past gives it substance. A warm recent choice with bereavement underneath the jokes.
