Heaven or Las Vegas (1990)

Elizabeth Fraser's voice and Robin Guthrie's layered guitars make Cocteau Twins sound as though a melody is changing colour while you follow it. Iceblink Luck is the bright first doorway. The voice works as texture as well as language, giving the songs a floating quality without losing their pop momentum.
