Chemistry brings Jon Hassell's breathy, altered trumpet into contact with percussion and electronic atmosphere. In this collaboration with Brian Eno, the horn can seem part voice, part distant signal. Repeating figures provide a way through a sound world whose instrumental identities keep blurring, inviting close listening without a crowded arrangement.
