Kiss (2012)

Tiny Little Bows turns a crush into a tightly sprung rush of hooks, while Your Heart Is a Muscle lets Carly Rae Jepsen stretch into a more vulnerable vocal. Together they widen the emotional palette around Call Me Maybe. The attraction is still immediate pop, with enough changes of emphasis to give the album a personality beyond that one perfect introduction.
