Kiki's Delivery Service (1989)

A young witch's delivery work gives an accessible shape to losing confidence in something you once loved. Adults may find the practical independence, friendship and creative exhaustion as involving as the flying. Much of the film is gentle daily life, with a tense rescue near the end rather than a continuous run of danger.
