The Troop (2023)

Use Training mode first: its lightweight setups have no objectives or failure state, and can be restarted whenever you like. That gives space to study movement points, gunnery points and steadiness without a campaign's permanent losses. Then move into the earlier Story scenarios, which introduce forces and features gradually; most also let you try the opposite side. Keep the manual's explanation of aiming and final actions handy, because an apparently available tank may lack the points to fire. It is a particularly useful choice for experimenting before attempting a scored battle.
