Order of Battle: World War II (2015)

The free base installation includes the Boot Camp campaign, making this a useful way to try hex-based operational play before buying a theatre campaign. Learn to coordinate land, air and naval forces while watching the supply network: a strong unit becomes much less useful when an advance disconnects it. The base also offers a trial of each campaign's opening chapter, which can help judge the next commitment. Full campaigns are paid expansions. Choose it for an accessible learning route into supply and combined arms, rather than assuming the entire catalogue is free.
