Panzer Corps 2 (2020)

Choose New Game and Tutorial before the long branching campaign. Its short teaching campaign introduces mechanics in stages, while combat predictions and logs help connect an attack's outcome to the forces and conditions involved. Practise combining support fire, appropriate unit types and encirclement instead of buying tanks for every job. Undo availability depends on the setup, so check it before relying on reversals. Leave the separate Tactical Puzzles and Challenges until later: some are deliberately difficult tests, not gentle introductory lessons. The base game's learning material does not require buying the Axis Operations expansions.
