Begin with the tutorial campaign, then replay an early mission without chasing every optional achievement. Its small forces and highlighted movement choices make it a comfortable place to compare a quick advance with a slower hunt, or learn why suppressing a defender helps an assault. Facing, cover and morale matter without requiring a divisional command structure. The battle report separates losses and completed achievements, so a narrow victory need not become a failed lesson. Choose it for a readable tactical foundation, with its short manual nearby when an action's consequence is unclear.
