Very (1993)

Very puts Pet Shop Boys in an unusually bright, emphatic frame, with Can You Forgive Her? and I Wouldn't Normally Do This Kind of Thing establishing the push. To Speak Is a Sin later makes room for a quieter, watchful voice before the album builds towards Go West. That contrast lets the bigger gestures feel earned. Choose the original album before exploring the separate Relentless companion.
