Love Story

In the original Fearless recording, the closing section moves from D major to E major as the romantic uncertainty turns towards a proposal. The familiar chorus has a new outcome and a new height. It is a neat piece of pop storytelling: the music makes the resolution feel earned before you have finished processing the words.
