The Flatshare (2019)

Tiffy and Leon share a home on opposite schedules, getting to know one another through the traces and messages they leave behind. Ordinary requests acquire an intimacy that a grand first meeting could not supply. O'Leary then gives that developing trust a harder context in Tiffy's controlling former relationship. Read for the contrast between being heard and being managed, while allowing room for a substantial story about emotional abuse beneath the playful premise.
