Maggie and Aiden become friends in an online gaming guild while making spectacularly wrong assumptions about each other's ages. Meeting in person is only the beginning: old relationships and family expectations have left both with things that need saying. Yardley lets two middle-aged people be prickly, uncertain and desirable. Choose it for the pleasure of discovering a person beyond an easy label, with family homophobia and an unwanted outing part of the harder material.
