A Real Pain (2024)
Movie

The cousins' journey through Poland is appealing because neither man can keep the trip within its planned emotional boundaries. Old resentments intrude on guided visits, and shared history changes what a street or a memorial asks of them. Jesse Eisenberg leaves room for awkward company as well as discovery. Choose this for the possibility of seeing a travelling companion differently, while recognising that the Holocaust remembrance sites carry an obligation beyond a visitor's personal growth.
