Control (1986)

Janet Jackson's 1986 album makes independence audible through precise rhythms, sharp phrasing and the partnership with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. Control and Nasty announce their boundaries with remarkable economy. It is the most direct choice when you want the change in an artist's public voice to arrive with dance-floor force.
