Academy Museum of Motion Pictures

At the Academy Museum in Los Angeles, the current Ponyo exhibition connects hand-drawn animation to original drawings, art boards and an animation desk. An interactive table lets visitors try making a sequence themselves. The exhibition is scheduled through March 2027; check the wider programme before travelling, as other galleries rotate.
