Anyone who has shared a kitchen will recognise these vampire flatmates arguing about chores. Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi make ancient monsters petty, vain and hopeless at ordinary social life; the mock-documentary glances leave lovely space for a room's laughter. Pick it for friends who prefer dry absurdity to shouted punchlines. This is the original film, with some bloody horror gags.
