Speak No Evil (2022)

The Danish original makes accepting a holiday acquaintance's hospitality feel like signing away the right to object. Small breaches of comfort are repeatedly excused because challenging them would seem ungrateful. Christian Tafdrup pushes that recognisable hesitation towards exceptionally bleak horror. Choose it for the sustained examination of boundary-setting, with the warning that the eventual cruelty is severe.
