The Feast (2021)

A wealthy family's dinner in the Welsh mountains becomes a dispute over what the land is worth and who gets to exploit it. The Welsh-language dialogue and polished modern house bring the old-warning tale into a recognisable present. Lee Haven Jones lets food preparation and strained hospitality gather menace before the film becomes gruesome. Pick it for ecological anger expressed through an increasingly unpleasant meal.
