Toy Story 2 (1999)
Movie
Released
Toy Story's rivalry becomes a harder question here: is being loved worth the certainty of eventually being left behind? Jessie's history gives Woody's choice a cost that the first film only hints at. Meanwhile Buzz has to handle another toy's delusions, a neat reversal that earns its laughs. The rescue adventure grows larger, but the sharper understanding of attachment is why this sequel edges ahead.
