Top Gun: Maverick (2022)
Movie
Released
Top Gun sells the rush of belonging to an elite club. Maverick puts a man who depended on that club in charge of people he may not bring home. The training exercises teach the audience the final mission's obstacles, making the flight sequences unusually easy to follow. His history with Goose's son adds a wound beneath the grin. The emotional writing is straightforward, but its connection to the action is stronger than before.
