Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022)
Movie

The multiverse becomes a furious expression of family disappointment, unrealised possibilities and the exhausting sense that every choice was the wrong one. Michelle Yeoh anchors the leaps in a laundrette owner's unfinished conversations with her husband and daughter. Its crude jokes, rapid changes and maximalism demand energy, but kindness has to work here rather than merely sound comforting.
