Sleep Dealer (2008)
Movie
Released
Remote labour lets workers operate across a border their bodies cannot cross. Alex Rivera follows a young Mexican man into that system, making the distance between technological connection and human freedom painfully concrete. Relationships give the political premise its scale: memories, work and water are things people need, even when someone has found a way to sell access to them.
