The Dark Knight Rises (2012)
Movie

After escaping the pit, Bruce gets back into an occupied Gotham whose access routes are heavily controlled. The film allows time for travel, and he has operated without wealth before; the gap is the unshown route through this particular siege. His reappearance works emotionally because the prison sequence has made recovery a matter of fear and resolve. The logistics are thin, but the return lands as a hard-won decision.
