Cemetery of Splendor (2015)
Movie
Released
Beside soldiers afflicted by a sleeping sickness, a volunteer's visits become an unusually absorbing way to spend time. Held views of the ward, ordinary conversations and slowly changing coloured light invite your eyes to wander within the frame. Apichatpong lets care, dreams and buried histories coexist without separating them into reliable categories. The human connection provides an anchor, though anyone waiting for a medical mystery to be solved will need a different expectation.

About Cemetery of Splendor
In a hospital, ten soldiers are being treated for a mysterious sleeping sickness. In a story in which dreams can be experienced by others, and in which goddesses can sit casually with mortals, a nurse learns the reason why the patients will never be cured, and forms a telepathic bond with one of them.
