Attack the Block (2011)
Movie

88 minutes. A south London teenage gang's local knowledge becomes a survival skill when creatures arrive on its estate. Joe Cornish gives the action clear geography and the group enough friction to make cooperation interesting. The jokes, changing loyalties and alien siege fit together tightly, with sharper violence and language than a children's adventure might suggest.
