Emma Stone and Jesse Plemons make a kidnapping feel like a contest between incompatible accounts of reality. Yorgos Lanthimos draws dark comedy from a corporate executive's confrontation with men convinced she is an alien, turning the extraterrestrial premise into a pressure test of power and belief. Choose this for abrasive, performance-led science fiction that leaves room for argument afterwards. The violence is harsh; the answers are best discovered unspoilt.
