Finding Nemo (2003)
Movie

Marlin's protectiveness begins with devastating loss, which makes his anxiety comprehensible even when it restricts Nemo. The adult drama is learning that good intentions can still become control. Dory's willingness to accept help offers a different way through uncertainty. The rescue remains lively family comedy, but watching the father learn to trust his child's capabilities is the part that changes most with age.

About Finding Nemo
Nemo, an adventurous young clownfish, is unexpectedly taken from his Great Barrier Reef home to a dentist's office aquarium. It's up to his worrisome father Marlin and a friendly but forgetful fish Dory to bring Nemo home -- meeting vegetarian sharks, surfer dude turtles, hypnotic jellyfish, hungry seagulls, and more along the way.
