Coco (2017)
Movie
Released
Coco makes remembering someone an activity a family must keep doing, through stories, photographs and music. An adult may notice how easily a family story can become a rule that nobody living has examined. Miguel's journey is exuberant, yet its tenderest passages depend on attention to an elderly relative rather than another supernatural spectacle. Expect grief and the fear of being forgotten alongside the colour.
