Tremors (1990)
Movie
Released
The tiny desert community learns the creatures' rules together, turning roofs, rocks and improvised equipment into a satisfying survival game. Kevin Bacon and Fred Ward's argumentative partnership keeps the competence funny. Its durable appeal is unusually easy to share: the monsters are tactile, the geography is clear and the supporting characters are allowed useful ideas.
