UHF (1989)
Movie
Released
A struggling television station gives Weird Al Yankovic a licence to treat every channel as an entirely different ridiculous film. The sketches are uneven, but their homemade eagerness is part of the invitation: a cheap idea can suddenly become an enormous visual joke. It suits viewers who enjoy the pleasure of a gag pursued well past sensible stopping distance.
