30 Rock (2006)

Tina Fey's backstage sitcom fires off visual nonsense, corporate satire and character jokes at a speed that rewards a second viewing. Liz Lemon's anxious compromises meet Jack Donaghy's absolute confidence, while the stars of their television show keep generating new disasters. It belongs here for the sheer inventiveness of its comic world, where a ludicrous business idea can feel only one meeting away from reality. Best if you enjoy fast, heightened absurdity.
