Pressing On: The Letterpress Film (2017)
Movie
Released
The weight of a press and the care of setting type turn printing into an encounter with physical limits. The film asks why an apparently obsolete process survives, following collectors and working printers who pass equipment and knowledge onward. Its hopeful thread is revival through use, rather than preserving a machine as a silent museum object.
