Lodge 49 (2018)

The gentler detour: an adrift ex-surfer finds company and possible hidden meaning inside a shabby fraternal lodge. Around him, ordinary work and debt make belonging feel materially important. The rituals and doors may attract a Severance viewer, but the generosity towards struggling people is the stronger connection. AMC's low-rated, critically admired series ended after two seasons with larger mysteries still open.
