In the Flesh (2013)

A treated young zombie returns home to a community that would prefer to define him by the danger he once represented. Makeup, medication and political language make rehabilitation a concrete social problem. It is a compassionate, disturbing use of the undead, with suicide and prejudice central to the story and a two-season cancellation leaving larger conflicts open.
