Deadwax (2018)

A vinyl tracker searches for a record whose sound can destroy its listeners. The investigation gives collecting, obsession and the physical act of listening a genuinely dangerous texture. Short episodes and attentive sound design make this a concentrated discovery for an archive-minded viewer, with eerie recordings leading into graphic and hallucinatory horror.
