Whalefall (2026)
Movie

A diver's dwindling air supply makes an outrageous predicament frighteningly immediate: he is trapped inside a sperm whale. Brian Duffield's October 2026 novel adaptation links bodily escape to memories of an abusive father. It is the list's most fantastical proposition, worth choosing for claustrophobic problem-solving and psychological strain rather than biological plausibility.
