The Way Way Back (2013)
Movie
Released
A summer job lets an awkward boy be useful somewhere outside the adults' strained holiday arrangement. Liam James's gradual ease is more persuasive than a sudden makeover, and Sam Rockwell's irreverence has a generous purpose. It is a gentler option about confidence growing through ordinary work and a different sort of adult attention.
